I was a widow for 7 years with 3 children till I remarried in 2022. I have a shop and have been managing to take care of my children from the proceeds from my shop and rent from the three bedroom house my late husband built.

I met a man that was on holiday from USA in 2021 and we clicked. We were inseparable throughout his three weeks stay in Lagos. We continued our relationship by video call and text messages when he went back. He said he is dirvocee and want a fresh start. He promised to bring my children and myself to USA. He returned to Nigeria in December 2022 and we got married. My family returned my bride price to my late husband family according to the custom of our village. 

I found out that I was pregnant after he returned back to USA and he was so happy. I left my late husband house and moved to his parents house at Ikorodu with my children. My children were treated like house maid by my new husband’s family and his family tells him negative report about us. 

I had the baby last year September and seven months later ( March this year to be precise), a yoruba woman from USA came to visit my husband family. My in-laws informed me that she is my husband’s wife and I must not let her know that am married to my husband. The lady stayed with us for the weekend and one of my children showed her our wedding pictures. She got angry and called my husband and tr0uble started. Since then my husband refused to send money or pick my call. His parents have asked me to leave their house.

I decided to return to my late husband house but his family is not allowing me to come back. Instead, they asked me to return their children. I don't know what to do or where to go.
